Of course, I won't know what it looks like until the replay, because I am, as usual, blacked out of the fucking Liberty games, living in Litchfield County, CT.

This is my annual bitch re: W blackout rules.

NBA TV- Strike 1
YES- Strike 2
League Pass- Strike 3, I'm OUT.

I'm expecting Zahui B to have a breakout season. Looks like she'll be our starting center this year.

Trying not to overreact in quarter 1 of night 1 but ditto. Yikes.
On the plus side it looks like not a lot of Liberty fans take the train.

Ooh they on fire ever since I posted that. 12-2 run and it's tied up.

I love what I see from McCowan early on. Lots of energy, very active and mobile.

Changes the game inside for Indiana. How soon before she starts?

They pulled McCowan before I could see what she was doing.

I noticed Kelsey Mitchell is quick and smooth.

So, though early, it looks like Smith will have Han glued to the end of the bench. Why not bring her in for defensive purposes at least?

Liberty minus Charles & Nurse look like garbage.

Charles: 16pts(6-12)
Nurse: 10pts(3-8)
rest of team: 7pts(3-10)

Thank goodness I made it on time. This is thrilling. Seeing her live, McCowan is eventually going to be a force. Her physical ability at 240 pounds is unbelievable.

Tina looks good physically. Zahui’s D was good when she wasn’t being dwarfed by McCowan, who is going to dwarf plenty of people.

In spite of my early sarcasm, the Libs’ D and energy have been good. I’d like to see better ball movement though. Durr is more explosive on D than I’d expected. Maybe she’s going harder in a regular season game.

Down 6 and through some droughts, Katie stuck to her rotations it seemed. Which is what you should do. That said, Durr, Nurse and Tina will hopefully play together more often. Though no complaints about what Allen brought to the table as a part of the Libs’ run to start the game defensively.

It will depend on how well Achonwa plays.

Would like to see Han in the game against the taller post just for defensive purposes. Put her in vs. McCowan and see what she does. Zahui B & Charles can't guard her, might as well try Han.

I don’t know which team is more painful to watch. Indiana or New York. It’ll be a race for last place between these two teams. Oh, and FYI, there is no way in hell Zahui B is a starting center in this league. Yikes. I’d even start Zu Han in her place. Not sure why Katie Smith, the leagues worst head coach hasn’t even put Han in the game yet. Oh wait, I said why, she’s the leagues worst head coach. So yeah, thats why. Confused

McCowan outweighs her by 50 pounds. Literally 47 pounds.

It’s unfortunate pushing has entered the modern game because instead of noting how mobile Han is for someone her height, Gianni says she needs to get a lot stronger.

Interesting; no Boyd, Wright or Bias in now. Nurse running PG duties.
