The European U18 Division A tournament was in Sarajevo, but it did not help the local teams avoid relegation:

Australia beat Colombia 62-53. Mali started the day in stunning fashion with a 67-34 win over Latvia. Canada is the next US opponent after a 82-50 win over Argentina. Belgium beat Thailand 88-47, Japan beat Hungary 76-68, and China beat Mozambique 71-28. The day ended with Spain beating South Korea 60-51.

The United States jumped on Canada early and rolled to an 81-46 win:

The semifinals and medal games are supposed to be on ESPN+ barring further technical issues. The United States plays at 6am ET on Saturday.

Australia won the first quarterfinal 63-51 over Mali. Spain edged China 55-52 and Belgium ended the day with a 63-43 win over Japan.
