The slogan and the shirts are fine and all, but I really hope the league doesn't continue prioritizing the "take a stand & support these women because it's the right thing to do" marketing message above a "these people who happen to be women are talented and are worth paying money to see" kind of message. We'll see what the ads look like as we get closer to opening day, but this already is not a good sign. Confused

The league's been posting pictures of various women wearing these shirts on their Twitter account all week. I understand the message and everything, but some small part of my mind, when women are brandishing their chests with 'The Power of Women' written right across, thinks "so The Power of Women is in their breasts then?" Laughing
