I'm really poor at knowing what's going on with any team except the Liberty, so I'd like to ask everyone: which players are sitting out this year?

I ask because I'm going to be drafting my team for the Rebkell Fantasy Basketball League (which you are all welcome to join--check out the league's thread), and I don't want to waste a pick on a player who won't be usable.

I know Maya Moore is taking off for her religious pursuits, and that it seems like no one knows if Liz Cambage is playing, but that's pretty much the only news I know. Can anybody help and clue me in a little better?

Yes it was mentioned during the draft that Skyler will be out for the season.

Was it Skylar herself saying she’d be out, or Agler or Bibb? Because if you’re relying on the bumbling ESPN broadcasting crew to get things right, that could be a mistake.

I saw a video last night on Twitter of Bibb saying that he expected Skylar to play sometime this season.

I agree. Skylar said she was hoping to get back as soon as possible, so until she delivers no one will know for sure what her timeline is.

I thought Angel said she'd be back, just wasn't sure when. Unless her rehab has taken a turn for the worse...

The Dark Angel shall rise again, like the fabled Phoenix rising from its ashes, with healing in her wings.

In one the videos on the Dream thread that Shades posted the other day Collen said Angel won't be back for the start of the season but she is working hard to return. How soon that is all comes down to building her quad strength. She gave no timetable. In one of the interviews Angel gave she was talking about a 1 year recovery period which would put her return late in the season.

I am not counting on her being back this year.

Even if she comes back late in the season, McCoughtry will probably be rusty and gimpy like Epiphanny Prince was in 2016. She'll likely be a shadow of the Angel we're used to seeing.
