Sabrina has always been a polarizing person, but come on this obvious hate is uncalled for. Her family is from Romania and I believe her demeanor is reflective of that culture and the time they spent under a repressive regime. Nadia Comaneci also seemed rather stoic and brusk by American standards. They do not focus on PR and just say what they think. When you get to know them they are basically good people.

They take a sport seriously and that is what makes them hate to lose winners. They just hold themselves to a higher standard and put their everything into whatever they do. Sabrina is definitely not light-hearted and frivolous when it comes to basketball. She is seriously committed to being the best she can be. Much like Nadia was.

PG & C are the two hardest positions to fill. Baylor will lose a starter from each of those positions.

I could see Baylor being hit with a couple of transfer outs.

I wonder if they’ll go with Queen Egbo as a starter or NaLyssa Smith?

Baylor should be very good but it’s not like they don’t have some things to iron out.

Given Baylor does not have a large recruiting class coming in, perhaps there will not be the transfers.

As for the final starting position, it will be interesting. Smith had a good NC game. But Cox played really well next to a more physically imposing, back-to-the-basket five.

I agree that Baylor could be very good, but I also agree with you that there are a few things to iron out.

High on that list might be putting Miss DiDi in possession of a reliable mid-range shot Exclamation Exclamation It's a little dissonant to see a NC-caliber team with a starter nobody guards past 8 ft. out.

I agree.
I wanted her to go. Then maybe Jackie would stay in hopes of being the #1 pick next year. Not much reason to stay now. Sad

I really can't imagine that being #1 is really THAT important to these kids, more than, say, being #2 or #5....is it? Lotta hoopla, but not EVERY #1 is guaranteed Fame and Fortune. (See: Tan White, etc.)

On the other hand Jackie might just get her NC this year, and most certainly NOT be a contender with her team next year. That might be a bigger consideration.

Tan White was not a #1 overall pick

Tan White!

I don't think Evina will be going to Oregon since Ionescu is staying. Evina wants to be the whole show and I doubt she'll want to play second fiddle....

Am I missing something? I don't think they will overlap. Unless you think Westbrook gets a waiver.
