I am surprised she fell all the way to me, but I will gladly take Keneisha Bell of Buffalo.  |
Except she played for Minnesota. |
That was an intentional joke for Lynxmania.

First, I would like to thank you all for participating! It was a little bit rough, but I'm glad we were able to do it. The rolling draft work really well last year, so thats why I thought it would be good to do again this year, but alas that didn't pan out. Lesson learned! Next year, we will probably have to set a date down and do it all at once!
But thanks again! Now lets see if the GMs have Rebkells bookmarked on their computers and steal your choices!

Interesting. Kiara Leslie was the other player I was considering for the Mystics in the 3rd round, although I had Bell just a bit higher because of her defense. First round seems early, but Thibault has drafted well.

So 9 of the 12 first round picks were the same, but we picked Gustafson, Cunningham and Howard over Leslie, Turner and Magbegor.
In the second round, 3 of our picks went in the first round, 5 went in the second and 4 (Kea, Huff, Robinson and Yueru) fell to the 3rd round.
In the third round half of our picks weren't selected, including #26 Blockton, #27 Frost, #29 Emery, #31 Hof, #35 Morris (assuming the last pick was Macy Miller) and #36 Jackson. The players we didn't choose that got drafted were two Spaniards, #27 Conde and #31 Salvadores, as well as #29 Bertsch (a big surprise to me), two Louisville players, #32 Carter and #34 Fuehring, and presumably #36 Miller.
It will take a few years to determine whether we know more than the GMs.

Bertsch is interesting, but she's likely to take her Biomedical Engineering degree and do something other than basketball
