Note those are except for CT very close to capacity...id say 75% those are small rinks that hold about 1500 tho I don't have full capacities at the ready

The Riveters did play one game at the Prudential Center which drew around 2,000. Maybe they can do double headers with the Devils and up their marketing. That could get them around 4-5,000. After this season, I wonder if the Whitecaps might attempt a game at the Xcel Center?

That would probably be overkill. Xcel seats about 18k, and the Whitecaps aren't anywhere close to there yet. But Minnesota has a ton of excellent hockey rinks of various sizes that they could use if they felt they could get the draw. The obvious one would be Ridder, where the Gophers Women's Hockey team plays. Ridder is a grade A facility that seats 3,400 and would likely be available as long as the Gophers had an away game that weekend.
The Whitecaps seemed to fairly easily sell out the 1200 seat TRIA rink, and I would guess could easily pull in at least 2 to 2.5k a game were they to have more seats available. But moving to someplace bigger might actually cut into their profits even though they could sell more tickets. The reason they play at TRIA is that it is owned by the Minnesota Wild (it is the Wild's practice facility), and I am fairly sure they are allowed to use it free of charge as part of their partnership. So unless they could find another sweetheart deal out there in a bigger place, TRIA is probably their most lucrative option for the moment.

Per various tweets, the NWHL will absorb Toronto and Montreal. No further expansion is likely to will happen. Season will expand to 24 games. NHL plans to increase funding.

League tweeted out that there's a possibility for another US based team to join this season. 8 teams would be ideal. Hoping it's Pittsburgh.

Buffalo Beauts ownership to no longer operate the team or sponsor the league. Huge blow for the league. 2019-2020 season clearly in doubt now.

They were owned by the same people who own the Sabres. This might be a move in solidarity with the players sitting out who are trying to get an NHL backed league akin to the WNBA.

The league seems very positive they'll be playing this season. Montreal & Toronto expansion is likely put off though. Basically would play with whoever is willing & available.

I can't imagine the league will do anything else. But without the top players it is hard to take as seriously. The question will be what the players do next. Do they form their own negotiating body and look to see if the NHL wants to start a league with them and the top talent, and try to get the NWHL back in the fold as a WNHL, or just have competing leagues reminiscent of the WNBA/ABL, or does the NWHL have some way to change their business structure to prove to these players that there is an actual path to making their league a feasible option for these players that would be comparable to a NHL backed one.

Don't think the NHL gets involved when teams are playing in arenas that hold ~1,000. How can they pay these players more when their capacity is limited.

I think there is a fundamental misconception of why the major professional leagues invest in women's leagues like this. It isn't because they think they are going to suddenly start selling out arenas and become some major sport in their own right tomorrow. That isn't why the NBA is interested in the WNBA. They honestly are not overly concerned about if the league becomes hugely "profitable"-- though obviously they would love it if it did, and that is still a major goal to strive for.
The reason they like/want these leagues is that they expand the potential interest base for their sport and create new fans for their leagues--not today, but 15, 20, even 50 years down the road as the expansion across gender lines attempts to draw a traditionally underrepresented demographic into their viewership fold. That is why it is worth it to them to subsidize these leagues as an investment, even if they can only have 1000 seat arenas at the moment and come nowhere close to a profit.

Riveters won't be able to play games at Prudential or Hockey House next season. Right now they are homeless, looking for a place to play.
Unfortunately, I think the league is swirling around the drain.

Another nail in the coffin for the NWHL.

Well, that part seems to be happening as these players sound to be forming their own union looking to establish a single North American league.
I assume the next step will be to officially approach the NHL. Which is what I assume the NHL us anticipating, and also why the teams have backed out of NWHL partnerships.

So with the league agreeing to boost salaries and agreed with the players' association to split revenue after league expenses 50-50 with the players, do some the 200 agree to play this coming season?
