I've suddenly taken a strong interest in the MVC, powered by an ulterior motive. Ohio is still hanging on to the last at-large spot, at least if you believe in the Church of Charlie. If Drake loses, they will for sure grab that spot instead.

Looks like it could be close. Drake and Missouri State split their two games this year. That has been Drake's only conference loss.

Game starts at 3:00 P.M. EDT - ESPN+

Go Bulldogs!

I was just looking up what time this game is at today. I root for Drake because of Coach Jenny Baranczyk who spent some time at Marquette as an assistant.

Go Drake!!!

And I'm a huge Missouri State fan because Kellie Harper was one of my all-time favorite Tennessee players. This may be the best team she's had in a long time.

I don't see this as a close game. In the first game Drake had a monumental collapse, blowing a 10 point lead after 3 quarters, allowing 32 points in the fourth. In the return match Drake led by 18 at the half and coasted to victory. I expect Drake to control again.

Looks like it's been a strange season for the Bears. They lost 7 of their first 8 games, then rebounded to a 22-9 record with only two conference losses. What happened? Did they have a player come back from injury, or did the light just come on a little late?

If Missouri State wins, wouldn’t it be a bubble blaster?

Yes, and I'm afraid it would be the Bobcats who get blasted.

42-35 Missouri State at the half. The Bulldogs have a raft of turnovers, and have scored almost all their points from three. Upset in the making.

Late comeback by Drake cuts the lead to 9, but only 2 minutes remain.

Oh, ye of little faith!! I picked MO-State in the Tourney game, and now I'm positive this point boost will blast ME right past Myrtle, who sheepishly picked Drake. HA--Take THAT, Myrtlicious!

(Oh, never mind.... Razz She got Radford 'n Princeton. Drat!)
