Let the games begin. Massachusetts beat George Mason 86-80 in double overtime and now GW is up 10-9 over St Joseph's in the first quarter

Today there are 6 games at conference sites for seeds 3-14. The quarterfinals, semis and finals will be played this weekend at Duquesne.

Dayton is hosting LaSalle right now on ESPN+ - that's a 13/4 match-up

One of my young friends is transferring from the local CC to George Mason next year. She played in HS but has given up the game since because she was only recruited by D-ll and D-lll schools and nobody had the major she wanted and/or she couldn't afford them anyway. Looks to me like she is probably good enough to walk on at GM if she wanted to. She probably won't though as her academic schedule will be pretty challenging.

I'll arrive tomorrow and set Cal straight on how to enjoy a basketball tournament. Laughing

It's almost over today so not much help there - early games were on ESPN+

The semi's tomorrow are on CBS Sports Network and Sunday's final is on ESPNU

VCU beats Dayton 61-52 and Fordham destroyed Duquesne 76-34.

So the 1 and 2 seeds VCU and Fordham will face off in the final on Sunday on ESPNU.

I hadn't seen Dayton play in a long time....wasn't that Jabir's team? They've certainly NOT maintained their former momentum of earlier years.

Yes Jabir coached there but he resigned in 2016. Speaking of Jabir, he was the coach at Marquette when I first started following them. He left after the 95-96 season to go to Providence and his assistant Terri Mitchell took over.

2 seed Fordham leads 1 seed VCU 30-23 at halftime.
