Iowa, South Carolina and Miami all were upset tonight.

They were all potential 2, 3 or 4 seeds. And those losses effect the RPIs and overall impression of their opponents.

There will probably be more upsets as this season comes to a conclusion.

also some bubbler teams losing
makes it all really interesting!
[and will no doubt give the 'committee' headaches!]

Speaking of bubble teams, Tenn beats Auburn and Missouri, then completely stinks up the joint tonight against aTm.

They were not prepared for the game last night. No effort no energy tired of beating that dead horse we all know why as well .

And, also, they played a much better team.

I dont know if i agree with that. A&M is not that much better if better at all than Tennessee. Talent wise LV's have no business being 20 pts behind that team period.

Tonight's upset by UCLA over Oregon knocks the Ducks off the 1 line, but they should still be the 2 in Portland. UCLA could move up as high as a 6 seed, amazing considering their non-conference struggles.

This may be a test of how the committee views short injuries. Oregon lost two games without Hebard (for 7 quarters). Almost certainly the one loss team that looked dominant, would still be a one loss team had she played. Assuming she returns at full strength, how much of a ding should those two losses deliver?

If I were on the selection committee I'd find this a tough question.

Given that CHW benched her starters well before the game got out of hand, I'd guess she wasn't too happy with the effort or energy either.

I just don't understand how UCLA somewhat underachieved with Canada, Billings, Burke, and Onyenware. Yes, they got bad draws in the NCAA's, but that's a really good foursome. I thought it was Close, but she has done a nice job with this team.

Those 4 played together for exactly one season, and it was last season, and UCLA made the Elite 8. That's not terrible!
