RIP Mr Torkelson.

His recall of jamming with Hendrix in a hotel room, during The Monkees' short-lived, ill-fated tour w/ The JHE as openers, is a classic.

Yeah, they were made-for-tv pop, but imo there are a few gems in their record catalog. Wink

Mike Nesmith was a pretty good songwriter.
