Will the Mystics have to play 5 on 6 again? Even if officials again call almost every call favoring the Storm, Mystics can play well enough to overcome the unfair advantage given to the Storm.

MHA shot 1-8 fg, 0-1 3pt. She did have 6 rb, 3asst, 2st. So, play her for defense but ikeep the ball out of her hands on offense.

She's now had two more days to recover from Covid. I expect her to be closer to 100% than she was for that game. Let's see if she can give a Tina Charles hip check to send a Stormie flying - and get the foul called on the Stormie.

If the Mystics get their fair share of calls, they're winning this game.

Let's drown out one poster's incessant whining about officiating with some actual interesting content.

Oh Happy Day! Moving screen called on Tina C!!! I suspect officials watched tape of the last game. And you haters can suck it. Bad officiating should not determine the outcome of a game and that's exactly what happened.

Not today!

And, by the way, I accept that Seattle is currently outplaying my Mystics and has the lead. I trust my team to come back with some solid play.

I didn't watch a lot of Mystics basketball, are missed point blank layups normal for Hines-Allen? Shocked

Seattle looks very good, but they’ll need to clean up the turnovers if they want a championship.

Unfortunately yes. IMO, she makes bad decisions and then barrels to the net out of control trying to get fouled. When she passed in that first play I was surprised she made a good decision.

As long as TC keeps slinging it from the perimeter, the Mystics has a chance... Laughing

that was my thought too.
also, how much does Tina's presence detract from what Stewie does?

One of the Fantasy over/unders was whether Sue would outscore Cloud... I picked Sue, which looked great in the first quarter, not so much in the 2nd... and now WAS has closed the lead. Coincidence? Idea

They are hounding Stewart, and letting her teammates try to win it.
My bet is like Loyd game 1, her shot will fall when it matters.

If Washington gets swept out of the playoffs, was the EDD load management strategy worth it this season?

With her, they may had a higher seed?

Though I do agree with this assessment, in this game the Storm are outplaying the Mystics. If they win this game, today's victory will be fair and square.

That last no-call when EDD was mauled while shooting was pathetic but an occasional bad call does not determine game outcome. Again, the Storm are outplaying the Mystics. My team can still come back but it's looking less likely at this point.

Myisha Hines-Allen is a bit streaky. When injury/illness takes her out for a few games, it takes her a few games to get back in rhythm. Before she caught Covid, she was HOT HOT HOT. Unfortunately, right now, she's the opposite of hot.

The reality is, Washington can’t win without a second scorer. EDD is great, but additional shot creating is needed.

Edit: Die Bitches.
