And now Gonzaga loses at home again to BYU. 66-64. Boy that shakes things up in the mid world. I was hoping the Zags would get a 4 seed and host, but this puts that in great doubt.

ISU may not be a lock either...they beat Miami early in the season, but haven't had a good win since. |
They'd have to free-fall, i.e. lose their upcoming games to the bottom teams in the conference too, otherwise they've probably only just hurt their chances significantly of being a Top-16 team without needing a win over Baylor. |
A loss at TCU is not a bad loss. If ISU only loses to Baylor they will certainly stay a top 4 seed. If they lose twice to Texas (in the regular season and the conference tourney) they could drop to a 5 or even a 6. On the other hand TCU is close to an NCAA team. They probably need one more big win (over Texas, Iowa State or Baylor), but with an RPI of 37 they have to be considered. |
I didn't factor in that almost every team, like Gonzaga today, may lose games too. 😬

Providence wins in OT - 66-63. Butler moves back into 3rd place in the Big East at 9-5 and DePaul is now alone in 2nd at 10-4. Butler's NCAA hopes seem to be slipping away - I think at this point they only make the NCAA Tourney if they win the BET.

phew. Stanford managed to win. Well it's another W, but very ugly. I wasn't too worried after the first half even though they were down by 10 then cause they couldn't possibly shoot that poorly again in the second half...and fortunately they didn't. But it was far from easy.

Last second lucky win or clutch win, depending on one's point of view or bias. |

I just noticed on the boxscores Arizona St went on a 20-0 in the 4th quarter run to beat Utah 60-58. How does that happen?
