It's the annual all-access women's game on FS1 with both coaches mic'd up and no commercials - Marquette vs. Georgetown at 8P Eastern.

The camera Scott Merritt is wearing looks interesting. Slow start to this one. I’m wondering what the purpose is of still bringing Blockton off the bench if she’s going to put her into the game two minutes in.

"All Access" presentation by Fox Sports 1. Each coach (Carolyn Kieger - Marquettel; James Howard - Georgetown) getting a box on the right (seems like just miking them is enough in most cases) as the game is shown on a bigger window to their left. The Georgetown coach should mix in some encouragement and compliments. They were leading and the timeout appeared to be all criticism.

I've been watching and didn't even notice no commercials until I read your post. I wonder what the rationale is for that?

i'm so pissed at this bs split screen. I really don't need to hear the coaches every utterance. I can't watch, even though I want to.

Marquette escapes again with a 59-52 win and moves to 11-0 in the Big East and 20-3 on the season. This is the 2nd game in a row they haven't looked the greatest - hope it's not a continuing trend now.

The stat of the night for me though is Georgetown had 26 rebounds as a team and Marquette's Erika Davenport had 23 rebounds on her own in 34 minutes of action. She also became the 4th player in Marquette history to have 1,000 career rebounds and 1,000 career points tonight.
