Xavier looks to be the worst team in the BE. Here's hoping MU pulls away early in this one. This is a good game for Allazia Blockton to get in more minutes after just returning from injury last game out and hopefully score a bit before they face a tougher opponent in Butler on Sunday.

Marquette ran away with this one 90-44.

The big news was that Allazia Blockton played without the restrictions she had last game and found her shooting touch again. She scored 15 points in 19 minutes of action and became the first Marquette player Men's or Women's to score 2,000 points (she had already become Marquette's all-time leading scorer against Northwestern in early December). This was Blockton's 2nd game back after missing 5 games with an ankle injury. She came off the bench again tonight - that's a nice scoring weapon to have come off the bench Smile

Marquette takes their perfect BE record into Hinkle Fieldhouse Sunday afternoon to take on second place Butler.
