I wonder if there is a stat about how many rebounds McCowan gets that are from her own misses. It seems she has to take at least two point blank shots to get one basket. And Georgia's biggish lunk has blocked her three times. Still not impressed.

UGA gave Miss. St. about all they could handle. But then, everybody brings their A game. Jenna Staiti v. McCowan was fun to watch.

This is the Georgia I anticipated seeing all year lon with the backcourt depth and the front court play of Robinson. I know injuries have curtailed some of that but maybe now that they've seen what they could do.

In postgame, Vic said he May have stubbornly stayed in the pressing game too long. That is a good point since you're not going really deep into your bench. At the same time his team still found within themselves the capability to kick it into another gear at the end of the game.

MCCowan avoided this years penchant for early foul trouble but she also wasn't great defensively. Robinson scored often and the Georgia guards penetrated the lane often to great success
