So either Bibb isn’t very good at this GM thing, or they don’t anticipate Jefferson coming back this year. BMW is guaranteed for the rest of the season. Gustafson too.

It's possible they could write something into the next agreement to do something like that, but I don't think it's something they can do under the current agreement. You get what you're getting. It may suggest that Fowles's agent doesn't expect base salaries to go up that much in the next CBA (it could be some kind of separate bonus system that allows stars to earn significantly more). |
