Danielle Patterson scored in the first quarter before ONO even entered the game.

Each team has used just one bench player.

Prohaska also played for ND. Not long, but she played.

ND definitely doesn't look like the #1 team.

The Katie Lou I'm watching is creating her own shot pretty well.

Arike still has a way to go as a playmaker at the next level. She is a little better though. Her primary instinct is still, however, to shoot. Even highly contested shots. Which to her credit, she's pretty good at making. But a 5'8" pro can't be 80% shoot and 20% pass. It won't work in the WNBA without her having some ups and downs.

Williams has some toughness man. That's a nice addition to a team that hasn't been so successful closing out some big games against other powerhouses. Wonder if Nelson-Ododa will see more PT for height purposes as the season goes on.

I'll just blame this on the refs.

What the hell. UConn fans have done it every game they've lost for two decades, I guess I can do it too.

And with calls like that one on Shepard, It's a valid complaint.

Yup. I don't get why she is allowed to be such an asshole out there. I can't wait till she gets in the W and tries to pull that shit against Diana. HAAAA

Funny because KLS is just as much of a whiny little asshole out there. Perhaps more.

There's a big difference. Mabrey is a tough son of a bitch asshole. Katey lou is just a whiny little baby bitch.

Did anyone else catch the exchange between Arike and Geno?

Williams has a really likeable personality that isn’t exactly what you would expect based on her on-court demeanor.

I do expect ND to win this game and don’t think it would be the worst thing for UConn. Excited to see how Williams and Walker perform on the big stage.

Yes, especially CW

Did pretty damn good!

Yeah something definitely happened. It looked like Shepard, who was next in line, tried to diffuse it.

LMAO Moaning Muffet and Moaning Mabrey and NOW Moaning ogunnerbowale couldn't win with some homer calls on their own floor.

Uconn just showed that you cannot leave any of their players open and go double, it will be much harder to beat them, especially if that other freshman big can give some minutes as they looked better with Collier on the bench as she clogs the paint up and thats when they made their run.

The UConn freshmen really played well. Stepped up big time.
UConn fans should be particularly happy about that looking forward to next year because this is their team next year. They can relax a little over the recruiting issues.

The game surprised me on several levels and didn't go as I expected. UConn executed with ease in their halfcourt offense even in the absence of their 3pt game. ND was surprisingly lacking in same, and resorted more than usual to individualism. ND was also weaker on defense than I expected.

Williams may never have a big game game like that again all season, but she sure put on a show. I was especially impressed by the ease with which she made high degree of difficulty drives with her off (right) hand. Also good that ONO could get prime time minutes early in her career. She filled in very well for Collier.

AO wouldn't shake Geno's hand after the game.

I'm surprised by two things.
1. That UCONN won
2. That we outrebounded them.
