Florida loses to Northeastern 79-66 to fall to 0-6.

They appear to be horrible.

So, is Newbauer a bust, or did Butler leave the cupboard completely bare?

Meanwhile Northeastern moves to 6-0 having already beaten Dayton and Fordham. Will be more interested to see where they stack up in the CAA than in anything Florida does the rest of the season, that's for sure..

Due to an anonymous bomb threat, the Old Dominion campus has been closed today, Nov. 29, and all events cancelled. This includes the women's basketball game with Longwood University.

Texas A&M loses to Lamar. 74-68. No Chennedy Carter?

When was the last time the SEC was as weak as it is this year?

Turns out UGA stinks, aTm stinks, SCar is mediocre at best.

Florida is a total basket case.

I think Miss St is good, but we'll know more after Sunday.

The Lady Vols have games against Texas and Stanford coming up that will show us where they stand.

Heck LSU might end up being the third best team.

Probably never. They once had 10 straight years of getting at least four teams to the S16 and have never gone more than two consecutive years without doing so.

They'll probably have four again this year, no matter how bad they've been.

And Art you forgot Missouri. Another head shaker.

You're right. I frequently forget they're in the SEC. Very Happy
But losses to Green Bay and Michigan? They're mediocre at best too. Maybe they can fight with LSU and S.Car for a weak third place.

Not an upset at all....I'm actually surprised it was that close. All 2 of Sherri's players over 6' saw a total of 16 minutes' action. Got some good guards, but they ain't gonna last long in the Big 12.

Real Upset? Lamar over TX A&M?? Shocked Dang.

[Edit: I didn't realize Chennedy wasn't playing.... Razz That makes a difference, but still....if they're that reliant on one player, they're in for a rough road.]

Given how Oklahoma crushed the Lobos last year, it’s a pretty good upset. TAMU was without Carter, but still surprising.

Kansas continues the misery for the SEC by beating LSU.

Reportedly suspended one game for violation of "team attendance rules".

Typically It's not a first offense if it results in a suspension

And the LSU loss to Kansas (Kansas?!?) was at the Maravich.

I think MM quietly gets his Wildcats in as the second best team in the SEC.

Don't they have a game coming up against Louisville? That may tell us more.

In another thread someone asked why Williams and Howard left aTm after graduating in 3 years. I think the Chennedy Carter suspension might be an answer to that question.

JMU went down to Lynchburg last night and stomped on Liberty, 74-53. Kamiah Smalls had 30 points. She has really come on this year, having learned to go to her right as well as her left. Jackie Benitez also continues to shoot at will.

A note on Liberty...they seem to have given up on their foreign players, having only one left from last year. They are not projected to be much good this year. They left the Big South for the Atlantic Sun, a decision that was football-based. Didn't do their football team much good either.

Central Michigan currently giving Iona a beatdown. Poor Iona has fallen off a cliff lately. CMU up by 30 with quite a bit of time to go until halftime.
