-Ex-Ducks Mallory McGwire transferred to Boise St last spring. Seems like a bad decision to me.

-Here's how this game came about:

https://www.idahostatesman.com/sports/college/mountain-west/boise-state-university/boise-state-basketball/article221876395.html

"Whenever his team hosts first-round games in the NCAA Tournament, Louisville women’s basketball coach Jeff Walz likes to invite opposing coaches out for a drink and a bite to eat."

That choice was puzzling to me as well. And her absence is definitely felt by the Ducks. But I guess here she will be the proverbial big fish in a small pond.

It only seems bad now in retrospect. The younger Sabally was really going to cut into her floor time. She lost her starter position last season and with the younger Sabally and Bolin her offense could be replaced with out her defensive liabilities being a concern. Of course now that Sabally is out for the season, in retrospect floor time would not have been as much of a concern.

Hmm, seems I can get the stream to work on my Android tablet but not on the PC connected to my TV.

I'm getting it in Firefox but not Chrome.

So Louisville looks to have a two player team. Over-rated?

You might have to disable ad blockers but it was working for me.

Louisville will wake up soon. Actually surprised it took this long. They really miss Hines-Allen. Trailing 12-11 after first quarter.

Yeah it probably doesn't work for me on Chrome because I block both ads and popups.

Don't think it likes my ad blockers. Oh well, I'll just watch it on my tablet.

Probably caused some consternation in some quarters when the announcer a few minutes ago called Pat Summit the "greatest coach in women's basketball history." Very Happy

Ad blockers can be disabled for the current page you’re on. Rookies.

I suspect they're good enough to cruise except for maybe two or three teams on their schedule. But they seriously need to find some scoring to help out Durr.

I fully expect Muffet to roll out a box-and-1 on Durr and to shuffle fresh guards playing the "1".

Just think if Slocum would have transferred to Boise.
Louisville might be hurting now.

Boise St. is a good mid, but didn't think they were this good. Or that Louisville would look this bad.

Stat page is way behind. The vid had it at 29-28 LOU at the half.
The Boise player hitting all the threes got rang up for three fouls in the first half. Gotta be smarter than that playing a top team.

This is Boise's 4th game, but 2 of the first 3 were against teams not in Div 1 (Southern Oregon Raiders and Northwest Christian Beacons). Their only Div 1 opponent was Cal St Northridge in their first game of the season. So this surprises result me. At the half, Louisville leads 31-28.

Not an artistic game. LVille shooting 34%, Boise 29%. Both teams with 5 assists and 12 turnovers. Also even at 20 rebounds each.

But it's entertaining.
