44-35 early in the 3rd in what has been an entertaining game. Few fouls. Syracuse is pushing the ball while TAMU would prefer an SEC slowdown game.

Great guard matchup between Mangakahia and Carter.

Early in the 4th and the Orange lead 65-50.

The TAMU bigs look exhausted.

With the exception of Wilson who has hit several 3's in this half TAMU is lost when Carter is on the bench.

What was a well played game has turned into a hot mess.

2 minutes left and TAMU has cut the lead to 71-64, mostly on very sloppy play by Syracuse. Mangakahia is trying to dribble through triple teams as her team mates do good imitations of statues. If TAMU could shoot they would be leading.

75-65 final

Two ranked teams playing and there is no live stats to be found.

Carter fouls out with 40 sec left. 18 points but what is revealing is that she had 16 of those in the first half.

The key to the game was the depth of the Orange. Quentin substituted freely in the first half and pushed the ball the entire game. TAMU was gassed about 5 mins into the 3rd. This would have been a 25 point win if Syracuse didn't lose what seemed to be an endless number of TO's against the TAMU press late in the game.

Mangakahia is a pleasure to watch. Once she got past the guard covering her she was just way too quick for the TAMU low post defenders.

She is in the perfect situation in Syracuse's up and down style.

And she has a really really cool name.
