I'm watching the live stream. I live too far away to want to go to games not against top teams.
Nobody would show up to see Rachel Banham or Carlie Wagner play against ranked teams but everybody is showing up to see Lindsay Whalen coach against Cupcake Community College. I guess that's alright. Smile

If last year’s system is what you consider pretty, I hope we don’t see pretty again. I much prefer a true two post system over last year’s 4 guard system. I also prefer man-to-man defense over the unwavering 2-3 zone.

Nope. I’d rather gouge out my eyes than watch Stollings no defense system with 4 guards and a random post player ever again. Whalen seems to be on the right track. She certainly has people paying attention.

I thought not being pretty was more like there were stretches were the Gophers struggled to make shots we expect them to make—Pitts didn't shoot well and Bell missed some shots too and only shot 4-8 from the FT line.
I won't miss Stollings' Swiss Cheese Zone Defense either. Smile
