Brian Neal is out at Xavier after 6 seasons. He went 28-80 in Big East play. |
I wasn't sure they'd make that move but it seems like it was time as they were at the bottom of the Big East for awhile.

Hoping for news out of BisonVille that Maren Walseth receives her walking papers after NDSU was destroyed (again) by South Dakota. Open Season on Happy Valley alumni.

The long month of February removed the Boilermakers from the NCAA tournament discussion. They will miss the event for the third time in the last five seasons, including in back-to-back years.

I know this is coaches in the hot seat, so I don’t really know where to put this. How about how great of a job Milton-Jones is doing at Pepperdine. Usually players turned coaches doesn’t resonate, but her team is really good this year.

Almost all WCBB coaches played college ball. If you're talking former pro players, it's a mixed bag but there have been some success stories. Muffet McGraw and Dawn Staley have won national titles, for example.

I was referring to pro ball. Should have clarified. More often times than not, they are duds though.

Yeah, but that's true of all coaches.

Lol. Ok. How about this, for someone that has only been a head coachfor like two years she’s doing great! I’m sure you can’t argue with that statement.

UPDATE - Candice Jackson (College of Charleston)
2014-15: 5-25 (3-15)
2015-16: 11-20 (5-13)
2016-17: 9-21 (6-12)
2017-18: 7-24 (2-16)
2017-19: 7-23 (3-15)
I would expect the administration to make a change, given how poorly her teams have performed in her tenure -- and without any indication that the program is heading in the right direction.
