FSU up over troy 52-29 at the half.
FSU with only 8 active players. Pretty ugly game so far with fouls and turnovers.
Nicki Ekhomu has 20 points

Gardner Webb 45-42 end of 3
Ugly game with each team having 3 more TO than FG. The Plentovich sisters (who are from Florida) have made the difference with 3 3-pt FG each.

Wow. That's a nasty loss for Florida. I thought that Belmont's coach would do better than this.

TCU 27 Duquesne 18 at the half
Each team has 10 TO.
TCU looks a little better than I expected. The NCAA tourney may be a stretch but this team could be 10-1 non conference and in the mix for 3rd - 6th in the Big 12.

I started watching the game between Old Dominion and Campbell, but almost 4 minutes into the game the score was 2-2, so I switched to another game. And no, it was not good defense, just very sloppy play.

VaTech is now whipping South Carolina Upstate early in the 3rd quarter, 42-19, but this was an even game until midway through the 2nd quarter when VaT switched to a zone and then ran off 22 straight points to break it open.
I doubt if ND or Louisville are losing any sleep about VaT based on this game. They throw up a LOT of 3s. The rest is ok but not near the top yet.
Mabrey already has 13 in this, her first college game.

FSU's Nicki Ekhomu was the nations leading scorer this season for a few hours with 31 points...Then came Asia Durr..
Durr currently has 33 points as Louisville is up by 34 on WKU

Miss St rolling 71-39 over Southeast at the end of three quarters.
All round domination. McCowan with 22 pts, 16 rebounds, 5 or more blocks already. Howard got herself in foul trouble.
Miss St announcers pretty much trashing UF and Vandy for their "embarassing" losses for the conference tonight.

Louisville's problem isn't Durr, it's finding someone ELSE to score now that Hines-Allen is gone.

And in the PAC, Washington St loses to Utah St 70-61, and UCLA is trailing Loyola Marymount by 11 at the end of 3 quarters.

California 71 Houston 61 5 minutes to go in the 4th
Cal struggled badly at the start, trailing by 1 at the half. Anigwe had only 6 points and 3 fouls and the team was 0-10 from 3. They turned it around after halftime. Anigwe has 31 in the second half and has not picked up her fourth foul. The team is 2-4 from 3.
First Half Cal will not make the NCAA tournament, but second half Cal is deserving of its top 25 ranking.

Let’s not mention that Cal only won by one in the end....

Cal 80 Houston 79 Final
Last 5 minutes Cal was pitiful. Houston closed the gap with a 3pt basket plus a technical foul on Coach Gottlieb. They only tried to get the ball into Anigwe once (she looked gassed). Then Cal committed a foul on a 3 point shot to close within 2. Houston had a 3 pointer to tie in the final seconds but missed. The Cougars got the rebound and scored as the buzzer sounded so Cal escaped.
Houston played well and looks like a team that could finish third in the AAC behind UConn and South Florida.
