I am aware that Coyotes will be taking a trip this month and hasn't posted results for the past few weeks and also didn't post picks for this week. While I don't mean to step on any toes, here are the results for the past two weeks. Myrtle has already said she will pick the games for next week and I will pick the games for the following two weeks to get us through the end of the year. I will also take over the scoring through the end of the year.

A special shoutout to Howee for winning Week 4, which, if I recall correctly, is his first weekly win in 2 years. Also congratulations to Pilight for winning week 5.

I did this scoring quickly so if you notice any errors please post them and I will make corrections. (I think there must be mistakes since Howee won a week.) Laughing Laughing

In any case, Cal, thanks for posting the results...I kept telling myself I was going to get around to it...but I kept getting waylaid by Christmas events and preparations for my travels that begin on Friday.

I will be out of the country with limited access to internet, but if someone wants to make sure that we continue to post games, I will eventually sit down and get the results up. Cal, I know you said you would, but just letting everyone know that I'm crazy as usual.

So everybody's so in love with Alcorn State. Go Rust! Show 'em how it's done.

Week 6

Week 6 featured only 14 games because of the cancellation of Duke-South Carolina. But even with the short schedule Summertime Blues and Coyotes were able to get 11 right, winning the week. The key was picking both upsets of ranked teams yesterday, Stanford over Baylor and South Dakota over Missouri.

Summertime 11
Coyotes 11
Calbearman 10
Myrtle 10
Pilight 10
Howee 10
Hoopsmom 9
Dinkytown 9
Pureform 8
Adam 8
Lynxmania 7

Overall

Name (through 5 weeks, week 6) total

1. Calbearman (73,10) 83
2. Coyotes (68,11) 79
3. Pilight (68.10) 78
4. Adam (68,8) 76

I need some of that holy water. I think mine was more like holey water. But surprised I actually got 10 right. It seemed like a bad week. At least I'm not behind Howee. phew. Wink

What about those Rust Bearcats!? Don't say I didn't give you fair warning...

Unfortunately some of my other picks just lost in squeakers that squawked the wrong way in the last minute.
