Pretty sure they also beat Marquette, who are #8.

I guess Marquette will no longer be a top 10 team. Most suspected the visit was only for a cup of coffee.

And unless Notre Dame beats Louisville in the tournament it's looking like it's UConn and N Dame in Albany.

My guess would be
Baylor and ND and OrSU in Chicago
Louisville and Maryland and So. Caro in Greensboro
CT and Stanford and Marquette in Albany
Oregon and Miss St and one or more of Iowa, Iowa St, NC State in Portland

I'd be very happy with that.

I'm sure you would Laughing On the other hand, they may try to more closely resemble the s-curve and you'd get Miss St or ND

In a way I could see them putting Stanford and Baylor together again to give Baylor a re-do. And I would be happy with that as well.
By the same logic, maybe Oregon and Miss St too.
And UConn with ND.

I cannot follow s-curves, etc., (they make my head hurt), but what are the odds we'll ever see Baylor face MS-State before the FF (if then, even)? It'll be an epic fail if we never get to see a Teaira/Kalani showdown.

We will see years of epic battles between the two playing in the WNBA. Wink

Why is it called an S curve? What is "S-ish" about a list of 16 teams?

I think it's S for Snake but you have a good point. A pyramid might be a better description.

I only count 4 mid-majors. Big East and AAC don’t fit the definition of mid-major for the mid-major polls.

Considering how bad some of these teams are doing this year, all the conference snobbery is laughable.

Congratulations to the other Ogwumikes, pretty sweet that they cracked the top 25.

They must be Top 25 just because of the long win streak. They don’t deserve it based on beating anybody worthy.
