Kate Cain has a good chance to crash that party.

Surprised by UMich at 3. They're down their field general and top utility wing, from last year. I won't bet against Thome though, she can wreck face against almost everyone.

I think they’ll be there at the end. The team is deeper, faster and longer than ever. They have a chance to test themselves in a gauntlet on the road over 9 days. First at the Gulf Coast Showcase against Missouri, then if they win, projected opponents Texas and Duke. Next they go to NCST for the B1G/ACC, then to finish a home and home series at Marquette. We’ll know more by then.

She'll definitely have the opportunity. Outside of a couple of frosh, Cain is it for the Nebraska post game. It will be if note to watch how the Nebby staff continue her development.

Minny will be without Gadiva Hubbard for an undefined period due to medical reasons. That's a major ouchie for the the Wahlenettes who would have used her prowess to help offset graudation of Caryl Wagner
