Today at 2 pm (Pacific) the Mountain West Tournament starts at the Thomas & Mack on the UNLV campus. It runs through Wednesday. On Thursday, just a few miles away at the Mandalay Bay, the Pac 12 starts their tournament, running through Sunday. And on Friday the West Coast Conference holds their tournament at the Orleans, running through Tuesday. And if that isn't enough when the WCC moves out, the WAC moves into the Orleans for their tournament. It is truly March Madness, and while the dates aren't the same, all of the Conferences also play their men's tourneys in the same two week period
Snow will stop me from getting down for the Nevada - New Mexico game on time, and jury duty will cut my trip short, missing the WCC final, but this will still be a 9 day immersion in women's basketball.

I'll be at the P12 tournament, myself. Cannot wait. Love the Vegas venue.

I sadly won't make it down this year even though I'm currently eyeing some cheap flights down from Denver, the timing is just slightly tricky especially as I don't want to use up some PTO right now.

And so my Vegas WBB trip comes to an end. Thanks to the Mandalay Bay for putting up lines on the Pac 12 games which help defray some of my costs. This would be a wonderful place to play all four regionals some year to see if it works. Four locations but no overlapping times. I would be here and I suspect many others would be as well
