The book can be ordered from the States (and probably most countries) from The Book Depository-- I'll come back with a link.

That Russian story is one of the most interesting in all of sports.

I wonder if Sue, Diana or any other star player had that same experience.

they were all living together so I'm guessing it was similar. How they reacted though... would be interesting to hear their stories as well.

Probably similar but i think DT had the closest bond with him and really saw him as family so i dont think she would ever tell any of this to the outside world. Like LJ said she was in emotional state during those times. So everything could affect her differently then.

But i do know that when he was killed she went to the funeral but she didnt went back to Sparktak Moscow like she planned to do. She was dealing with an injury and rehabbing at home. And decided not to go back which says a lot IMO. I think that is also what Taurasi saw as betrayel and of the many reasons why they werent best friends anymore after that.

I remember reading some articles about their time there. I had such a weird feeling reading one in particular but haven't been able to find it. Here are a few articles though:

http://www.espn.com/wnba/columns/story?columnist=voepel_mechelle&id=5361724

https://www.seattletimes.com/sports/storm/emotional-sue-bird-returns-to-russian-team-despite-killing-of-owner/

There was also a thread here about it:
