Same. The semifinals were broadcast on our national sport's channel website but apparently we only get the finals today Sad

Belgium appears to only have 4 real players. when they go off the court, disaster. Spain has a much deeper bench. QED.

As a fully paid up member of the Marjorie Carpreaux fan club, I object to the suggestion of only four Wink.

Not terribly impressed with the substitution patterns of either, but especially Belgium. It seems random. Ok, let's put this bad player in and see just how much of a hole she can dig for us. Ok, let's put in a second bad player and see if she can't dig the hole even deeper...

I've appreciated Wauters in the past but she is obviously past it. Of course they only have Lindskens in the middle so they need a backup. It's a problem when you're a relatively small country... And Raman is a disaster which doesn't even wait to happen.

It's a problem when you're not a BASKETBALL country.

Then you're going to have an issue with the Kim Mestdagh fan club Laughing

Well, that depends. Who are the four?

Kim Mestdagh, Majorie Carpreaux, Emma Meeseman, and Allemand could easily be the four. I doubt that Linskens gets left out though given that she's vital.

Right on cue she misses a wide open layup. We want Meeseman!

My 4 was with Linskens and minus the fan fav Carpreaux - she just makes too many major mistakes.

I've always thought 'experience' in an event was overblown, so cringingly I say that perhaps Belgium's lack of experience in the World Cup is biting them in the butt.

For two reasons:

1. In AMERICA Belgium's National coach might

qualify as a "decent" Prep HIGH SCHOOL coach.

2. Belgium has proven to be a ONE TRICK PONY

When is a team a one trick pony Rolling Eyes because if you watched all of their games you would have noticed that Kim Mestdagh has been almost equally important and won them multiple games. Not every team can have 9 pony's on their team like USA.

Maybe its an idea to show some respect to some other national teams who did great. Basketball is like the 10th sport in Belgium.

Baseball isn't even in the Olympics. Who cares? Now, Softball, with the defending Olympic Champions Japan set to defend their title in 2020 is something worth watching.
