Allemand may be too much for our guards. Definite X-Factor for Belgium.

Solid game. Belgium only down by 1 at the half. Belgium doing well exposing our weak guards.

If you're Belgium, I think you have to be happy about where things stand. You're one point behind without Emma scoring at all in the second quarter. Meeseman has been a force to be reckoned with. Belgium just needs to find a way to neutralize Griner.

The fact that the United States just sunk 4 threes in a row and only lead by two is a small miracle.

Watching Belgium guards guarding US posts is funny but they're actually doing a decent job

Fun that Griner can run into a player and get a foul. Rolling Eyes

well Aussieland should be getting happier. Both Loyd and Taurasi having their best games and they never do it two games in a row.

Spain-Belgium should be a fun game tomorrow.

I love the confidence from Belgium.

Damn, those passes from Jewell and then Griner! Pretty!

That third quarter showcased exactly what I was saying in that "Retire already!" thread: USAB's margin for error is so much greater than the rest of the world. Other countries pretty much have to play forty minutes of immaculate basketball to beat the United States. The US really only have to play, like, six good minutes of basketball to beat the rest of the world. A quarter, at most.

You're not going to win a battle of attrition against the US; you're just not. All they have to do is get one of your three best players in foul trouble, and it's a wrap.

Maybe Linskens can be something. Raman still sucks unfortunately.

Belgium is a very disciplined team, and they play with a lot of energy. I'd like them for the bronze, on a neutral court, but I expect the home crowd to push Spain over the top.

Excellent plan! I like this plan! Go Australia/Spain! Avenge Belgium!
