I don't see a reason why she wouldn't want to. Seattle w/Bird next season will still be title contenders, so why not chase another ring?

Regardless of what Sue Bird does this year or next, she is going to be the next head coach of the Storm. It's destiny.

Because the history of star players coaching this league filled with success stories?

Best PG and floor general of all time,Highest basketball IQ, already a leader on the floor, calling plays on the floor and out of time-outs. So if anyone is going be a succesfull player turned coach in this league its going to be her and its going to be the Storm..

Who's to say she should be limited to coaching in the WNBA? If she becomes a coach then it seems being a college coach is much more lucrative and secure. In fact, no reason she should coach only in the women's game either. Why not the NBA or NCAA M?

No, that would be Jennifer Rizzotti. She’s moving up the coaching ranks and is even coaching on Team USA. Geno’s influence, I’m sure.

Maybe she could start out by coaching for the Lynx.
