Bird pushes the ball out of bounds, points her way, and the refs call it for her.
Stewie just hit Atkins in the face. No call.
Sue and EDD have the same number of fouls.

Lord Sammy with the dagger. Lord that look back on the bench? I'm soooo geeked.

Congrats Storm!! Completely surprised me this season and I had you picked as a lottery team. Never thought Howard would be this good and Stewart would have an MVP season so quickly.

There is another gamethread for complaining about the refs..

Surely Natasha should get mvp, but they’ll probably give it to Stewie.

Well. it looks like Atkins remembered she is a rookie, Cloud 9 remembered she's not all that, and Sanders remembered she has chronic anemia. Hopefully she can get a handle on that.

It was decided on February 7th. 🤬

I agree. Howard has been amazing and think Seattle would have done another first round bow out without her.

Tell you what, watching this series should be telling GMs that the model they should be looking for is tall, long players who can shoot from the outside, pass, make reads and switch on D. Teams find it really hard to play against switching man and cover those types of players. The Wallowing BIGS have become dinosaurs.

Maybe that narrative will be spread enough in the WBB media, that the wallowing two big dinosaurs in the upcoming draft stock will drop. Wink

Damnit. I wanted to see if Maj Forsberg would get a game or not.

I remember pre season when people talked about us being in the lottery, but I said we were going all the way, and I’m proud that I stuck up for the team. We won our third ship.

This team was already a powerhouse offensively. We lost a TON of games based on bad rebounding, lack of composure and bad defense and the bench just not knowing what the hell to do. Natasha was already a lock on better rebounding, but after seeing her and Jewell do damage with the USA select team in 2016, I knew she had more to her game than she let on. Moving Lang to the bench, getting Canada and KML continue to develop removed the bench problem. Honestly, I thought that they'd still have a bit of a struggle defensively still, but Dan Hughes REALLY ironed out those kinks quick. I honestly thought they could be contenders only after this year but HAPPY TO BE WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sancho Lyttle has something she’d like to say about that...

Congrats to Seattle. Incredible season by them. So..so..happy for Sue Bird. I will be surprised if this team isn’t better next year.

Never underestimate the power of Minnesota teams winning titles for other teams. Very Happy #Outrage

The one top team that stayed healthy won. Sometimes it happens like that.
