that's how you build a good basketball team anyway, tall and talented in every position.

IMO Atkins has looked better than Loyd this whole series. Shocked

The Atkins hype has been up there that people forgot that she shot pretty horrible in game 2

She doesn't need to shoot well to have huge impact.

and Loyd has shot horrible in multiple games in the playoffs.

You said series. Loyd was fantastic in game 1 just like Atkins. Both were not shooting well in game 2. So i call that pretty even but maybe looked in your eyes because of her defense

perhaps I should have said in the playoffs in general. But I'm totally amazed at a rookie for playing as well as she has. And even in game two she was at least stellar from the FT line. Not just that, but for a rookie to be as steady as she's been has really been something to see. I just think Mike really got himself a gem with that pick.

Seattle needs to not have a bad quarter in this game, but they way they are playing reminded me they were the best road team in the league. It’s not ours yet, 20 minutes is a lot of time.🏀⛹🏾‍♀️

I think Seattle is not wanting to meet Florence. And maybe the Mystics feel the same way.

You being old and/or washed-up at almost every position doesn't work? Or was I supposed to say this in the other thread? Very Happy

I think that was what Mike T. was asking at the end of the half.

And it may have worked!

Was that like a delayed tech? Hughes was yelling as the ref went by. The ref was at the top of the key when he made the call as soon as the basket was made. I doubt that there is any way he could have heard anything that Hughes was yelling with the noise from the crowd.

9-8 fouls, so despite some missed calls on both sides it’s pretty even.

She made that foul on purpose to stop the break..

People are we really going to complain about the refs in this thread. Because any objective person would see that both EDD and Stewie are NOT getting calls when they attack the basket.

Whiners please post it in the other thread..

Howard looks almost as long-armed as Stewart and can hit from three. But she also can post up.
