I was just thinking of stuff preparing for the coming season, and a question popped into my head, so I had to look it up:

There are 26 programs in NCAA Div 1 Women's Basketball that have been to more than 1 Final Four.

How many of them have been there with more than one coach? Which programs were they?

It's interesting to note that of the 5 programs who have been to the Final Four more than 5 times, 4 of them have all been with one coach. The fifth had a head coach who coached in all of their Final Fours, but was a co-head coach for the first 3 of them, a fact I only found out when I researched this.

I know La Tech is the only one to win NCAA tournaments with two different coaches.

The other ones I can think of that made the F4 with multiple coaches are Old Dominion, Maryland, Purdue, and LSU.

Cheyney as well (Stringer 1982, McGriff 1984). The WFF Final Four record book also credits Stanford's 1996 appearance to Marianne Stanley and Amy Tucker while Tara was on leave coaching the Olympic team.
