Unable to watch, but judging by the box score, doesn't seem that exciting. |
It's quite exciting actually. Really ugly, but interesting anyway. |
Agree. It’s fun and scrappy. Gutsy teams with lots of talent and playing without their stars.

Powers and Hines-Allen giving good minutes for DC |
Was surprised that H-A hasn't been playing at all after a pretty good start to the season. She just seemed to have been dropped out of the rotation.

They need her hustle on the boards! The rookie can play fearlessly and they need that

Hayes was too busy taking her sweet time instead of just shooting the ball.

The Mystics have passed out to a wide open TRP 3-4 times now when they could be taking a closer shot. Having TRP shoot at all is a win for Atlanta.

Not impressed with Sanders tonight. Seems a bit too passive given the situation.

Yep. And more was needed. Atlanta is now up 2-1.

Why have both these games on ESPNews and nbatv. We know Atl is going to win so why can't we see the storm and merc game. It makes no sense to have the same game on 2 channels.

Cloud, Toliver, and Ruffin-Pratt were a combined 7-32.

Oh yes I’m not saying LaToya was the sole culprit here. The three you mention were horrid. When Toliver is bad she’s bad.

This arena reportley holds 5,000. ESPN lists the capacity at 4,338 and announced attendance was 3,867. This was reportley a sellout. Three different numbers on what a sellout/capacity is.

This game was awful-ly hard to watch and i only caught the last 10 minutes. Was anyone elses feed kind of low or the crowd was a bit faded out. Seemed really quiet in the gym for some reason...ijs

Saw that 17-0 thing go up on the screen to start the 4th quarter and thought "Oh, no! The dreaded TV jinx is on." Phew!

Nah, the assessment of Sanders is accurate. Nikki Collen and her coaching staff clearly made the decision going into the game that, without Delle Donne, they weren't going to allow Tolliver to beat them. Washington needed Latoya Sanders to play like her FIBA alter ego, Lara Sanders, and she did not.

It's too bad Atlanta hired teenagers with a smart phone addiction to mop their floors and now we have to subject our eyes to them getting swept yet again rather than what would have been a great WASH-SEA finals |
If not for Moriah Jefferson's rolling tackle, this series would be over now.
FWIW, Atlanta won two out of three from Seattle this season. If the Storm make it to the finals, there's no reason to expect a sweep.
