Mystics fans - how excited are we????

We are playing like a championship team right now. How many times did the announcer say "that's some beautiful offense right there."

I believe we can beat Atlanta and compete with Seattle.

I saw the title of the post and thought, "Why is someone talking about the band?"

Think about it…… minimal usage of Thomas, Currie, SWK, MHA, no Emma this year. Should be contenders for years to come. Great job Mike T and staff. He's taken them from joke of the league(Mystakes} to one of the hated. Very Happy

I remember hearing that comparison but don't remember who made it.

I'm too young to remember prime Beard so she's young Kawhi to me Laughing

I believe Hawkins will be a UFA. I think Mystics lose her as she opts to go elsewhere for more minutes knowing Meesseman is returning. Mystics draft a center to backup Sanders. Meesseman wins 6th woman next season.

PG: Cloud/[Toliver]
SG: Toliver/Powers/SWK
SF: Atkins/Currie/Ruffin-Pratt
PF: Delle Donne/Meesseman/Hines-Allen
C: Sanders/draft pick

I believe Cloud would be a RFA, and the Megdal Database shows Hawkins under contract through next year.

Hawkins only has five years of WNBA experience anyway, so would be restricted even if she was out of contract.

How many years is it until you become unrestricted again?

You need six, but obviously you also have to be out of contract, and not everyone is after their sixth season.

Probably, though they were also up 1-0 in the semifinals in 2002.
