Robinson/(AJones vs Brown vs Dillard vs Bell)
Augustus/Wright/(keep another from above)
Christmas/Collier/Zandalasini
Dantas/Shepard/Larkins (until Zandalisini shows up. Then Collier drops down to PF)
Fowles/Alleyne (until Fagbenle shows up)
Brown and AJones are bigger than the other two guards. Could see it going like this
Robinson/(Dillard vs Bell)
Augustus/Wright/(AJones vs Brown)
Christmas/Collier/Zandalasini
Dantas/Shepard/Larkins (until Zandalisini shows up. Then Collier drops down to PF)
Fowles/Alleyne (until Fagbenle shows up)
Or maybe she keeps both older/bigger guards.

Definitely a lottery team.
hope they add Sabrina next year.
I am okay with the Collier pick now, hope she becomes the best player in this draft even if she is not that exciting.

Collier looks like the perfect pick to me. Subtle message to Maya - while you were out finding your calling, we found us another UConn superstar.

Oh brother, there’s no way she’ll ever hold a candle to Maya.

Sorry if it's been answered before - but what exactly will Maya do this year? I know it has something to do with faith, but I'm just confused and curious.
PS: Maya just logged into her Weibo (Chinese twitter) account after a year of inactivity to congratulate Han Xu

She’s taking the year off, but she signed a multi year deal (with a first year suspension), so she’ll probably be back with the Lynx.

Chinese guard Li Meng will reportedly join the Lynx training camp.

Don’t know exactly what she’ll do. That’s her business.

I wanted the Dream to get Shao Ting. Quite interesting that there is all of this interest now in the Chinese players.

With so many getting signed, I have to believe that Chinese national team will let them play.

Since sports in China is state-controlled, it wouldn't surprise me if this is part of a grand scheme to quickly improve Chinese basketball. The fastest road to improvement is to imitate the best, spend time learning from them, and then appropriate their ideas. The Chinese League already has some of the best American stars playing for them. That in itself raises the bar for Chinese players. Now, the next step is to send their players over to the US. The Chinese League season ends early enough so that it doesn't interfere with WNBA training camps or the regular season. That's a big advantage. So, if the Federation minimalizes their national team demands, then Chinese players should be able to maximize their opportunities in the WNBA. In theory, that will accelerate their development.

I think it is a lot better approach than that of the countries that just try to naturalize whatever WNBA player they can get.

We also have Alleyne and Griffin. I really like Alleyne's game and she had a good season overseas so I would put her into the mix. Camp is going to be real competitive! Whose Meng?
PG: Robinson/Brown/Bell
SG: Augustus/Dillard/Jones/Meng
SF: Christmas/Ting/Collier/(Zandalasini)
PF: Dantas/Shepard/Larkins/Alleyne/Griffin
C: Fowles/(Fagbenle)

Seems to be a directive to promote and sign Chinese players. Maybe China is seen as a potential market for the WNBA and they’re trying to draw interest. Maybe the promotion is a contingency agreement from the new owner of the Liberty. Seems all a little too coincidental.

I hope Coach Reeve isn't stingy with Collier's minutes.

Reiterating my final projected roster after the Wright trade
Robinson/Brown/(Dillard vs Bell)
Augustus/AJones
Christmas/Collier/Zandalasini
Dantas/Shepard/Larkins (until Zandalisini shows up. Then Collier drops down to PF)
Fowles/Alleyne (until Fagbenle shows up)
Unless Brown is completely incompetent in camp, I think she’ll be given at least a season to show progress. She was ACC Defensive Player of the Year, so that’s a quality that should appeal to Reeve. A con with her might be it’s hard to say if she’s all-in on professional basketball.
AJones is going into her third year, so she’ll have to show third year progress, or she may not be worth keeping around. If Dillard and Bell are both great in camp, AJones could be sent packing. I have a feeling the Bell signing was a gift to Whalen and the Gophers similar to the Wagner signing last year and they don’t really expect her to be good enough to make the team, but you never know what could happen when a player is given the opportunity.

Augustus and Brunson's farewell tour?
Spacejunkie and Shades burning Reeves at the stake for the Howard trade?
Maya decides that heaven can wait and now she wants to play basketball?

1.) Whalen jersey retirement day announced.
2.) Brunson and Augustus announce they retire at the end of the season.
3.) New jersey sponsor.
