With 3 number 1 picks, three years in a row, the Aces should far better than they have been each year....give my team 3 number one picks in a row and see what happens!!!

Young at lead guard really isn't that big of a deal.

The 1 the 2 and the 3 will probably be J. Young, Plum and McBride.

I wouldn't be surprised if he thought he could play Young, McBride, and T.Young as the starters... and THAT would be catastrophic. J.Young dribbling the ball around some at the college level isn't anywhere close to being a pro PG. And certainly neither of the other two can help much in that regard either. It's not much different than trying to play Aj'a at point forward. Laughing

We're actually undefeated since acquiring the third number one pick, so there is that.

Pretty quiet in the Vegas camp other than these 'interest' pieces. Wish they had a preseason game sooner so we could get a look at some of the new faces.

Good one, pilight. You couldn’t just post the self-explanatory url. You had to make it into an April Fool’s on Mother’s Day prank. Razz

so if I'm in camp and the review journal wants to do a piece on me, i tell them to get lost since it appears to mean you're gonna get cut.

Sounds like Cambage is agreeing to go to Vegas with my original trade idea: Jefferson + Harrison + future pick.

Cambage & Wilson inside are going to be unstoppable. They still have one too many posts.

PG: Plum/Colson or Chong
SG: JYoung/Rodgers
SF: McBride/TYoung
PF: Wilson/Hamby
C: Cambage/Swords/Park
12th: Harden or Nared

Bone possibly in another trade?

Actually on May 4th in the fantasy thread you said Jefferson, Park and 2nd round pick 2020, I said Harrison, Jefferson and first round pick 2020, which was a variation on my Harrison, Jefferson and #1 pick in 19 which goes back to the first day of the discussion when Liz said she was willing to go to NY, Vegas or LA back in January.

I am just kidding around, not a big deal but come on credit where credit is due

LV could win the championship as early as this season.

Cambage.Wilson and McBride are a damn good big 3.

https://highposthoops.com/2019/05/13/report-liz-cambage-not-traded-las-vegas-aces/

Quote:
Reports that Liz Cambage may have found a home at last appear to be premature. Brady Klopfer reported the Dallas Wings have traded Cambage to the Las Vegas Aces for guard Moriah Jefferson, forward Isabelle Harrison and a future draft pick. Three league sources told High Post Hoops that the trade is not close to completed, though as we have previously reported, the two sides have continued talking about Cambage all offseason.

The trade would have freed up one of the elite players in basketball to play, though any number of hurdles appear to remain, beyond just the two teams themselves.

With an ever improving Plum as their point? Jackie as the “rookie glue do it all” player? Absolutely.

That also is a team with a lot of attitude just like Laimbeer likes them. If this indeed comes to fruition, I’m excited for the league.

May 4? You think that was the original trade discussion? Check back on my trade idea for for Maya back when it seemed like she wanted to be traded. In fact, I think it may have extended back when Reeve said nobody was untouchable.

Lately I was thinking it would be more of a second round pick involved, and at this time a first round pick hasn’t been confirmed. It’s ALL rumor at this point. In fact, Megdal is refuting the trade happening since he wasn’t the first to break the rumor. His unwavering stance has always been that Cambage only wants to go to the Sparks.

WNBA09,

I'm actually very excited, despite the ongoing saga of the whole Liz thing...I'm just ready to make the deal with whoever, it doesn't even matter anymore, just make the deal and live with your decision, you win some, you lose some, it's just that simple!

I want a deal to get done asap, so whoever is involved in the trade, has a decent amount of time to learn Brian's system as well as time to gel with the rest of the group. Sometimes the right chemistry is better than overall talent, so that's moreso how I'm looking at the situation.

I saw in another post, you're going to the All Star game, I'm seriously considering it as well!
