Tina should be playing fewer minutes and taking fewer shots. Nurse and Durr should be the top two options. Tina should be the 3rd option on offense.

The big hope for me is that either Nurse or Durr step up and be a legitimate 2nd option behind Tina, because then Tina will be able to show you what she can do when she's not being triple-teamed. I think a healthy Tina Charles is rightfully the Liberty's #1 option on offense unless Nurse or Durr rise to All-Star quality.

Can anybody who's been watching tell me what the slow start of Asia Durr looks like? I only see the stats. Is she getting open looks at the basket?

Doesn't matter now. Durr has been released due to astounding pressure from thousands of panicky Liberty fans. Smile

Lol

But NYSports56, from the China game (the only one I’ve watched) she looked super nervous but settled down to score a few drives to the hoop.
But she missed a few shots early that seemed like bunnies and she would normally make no problem.

It’s been 3 preseason games, and she hasn’t seemed to get consistent playing time. I want Katie to play her through any mistakes she might be making, from play by play analysis it looks like she gets pulled when the player I imagine she would be guarding hits a couple of shots.
I would love to see her have a 30 minute game on the 19th against Connecticut.

Yeah, she needs to make the roster. Johannes isn't coming over until midseason anyways.

In College Bias was an exciting player to watch, she's 26 is already a WNBA Champion with the overseas experience and its obvious her game has improved tremendously.

Bias would need to have improved significantly. She wasn't worth a damn in Phoenix.

That can be a trap a team can fall into. A player gives preseason their all to do unexpectedly well, and when they make the team, they let up and you end up with the player you expected.

I guess it boils down to who gets cut and deciding if it’s worth it.

true dat. But NY looks pretty much like a hot mess, so she has a shot at it.

Also, the players who were locks start playing up to their level when the games count and Ms Unexpected can't match

Love your heart Talia, good luck to you!

I mean it all depends right? We don’t know timelines for Hartley and potentially Stokes.

Even if they come and go, that’s two open spots at least for a couple weeks this season?

So maybe Bias and Warley get called back.

Right now I’ve got:

Boyd/Hartley
Durr/Wright
Nurse/Allen
Charles/Raincock-Ekunwe
Zahui B/Stokes/Han Xu
*Johannes later in summer

Who gets that 12th spot in the meantime? Bias has played well, better than Cuevas-Moore, Faris, Gray, and Huff. Maybe Warley has played better, but that would be 6 posts (which I would be okay with if it’s Huff because she can hit 3s, but not with Warley who I do like a lot).
I can see Bias taking that 12th spot for Johannes, she’s shot the long ball well which we need, she’s fast, and played good pressure defense.

Nayo finished on Friday, Stokes like this morning. So, more likely Raincock.

Hartley's done as well. Just a matter if she comes into camp now, or she waits after Euros. Faris & Cuevas-Moore are likely the next cuts.

Would you guys be interested in Leilani Mitchell for a future draft pick?

I love Leilani since the time she played for the Liberty...But
Since we probably be a Lottery team this year , is she worth a possible
1, 2, 3, or 4 pick in next years Draft ...She isn't
