Never thought id say this but i agree with shades no shade......

Most of glorys hatred comes from her media scandal amd social media behavior in which is very very odd .Its her entire camp that makes it kind of toxic but she has improved over last season. Her attitude was a bit lackluster at times and we all know who she does and doesn't get along with so that's dirt under the rug. Shes a mom supporting her 2 choldren by playing basketball. That's all i care about to be frank.

There's also the "lesbian by choice" thing, which rubs many WNBA fans the wrong way

A professional athlete's personal life should not be scrutinized by the general public. It's none of their business.

GW: I want to have a much more aggressive mindset this year. Last year I felt like I played it too safe. I feel more confident coming into this season now that I know what to expect, so I can focus more on my game rather than trying to figure everything out. Also having a year under my belt has helped me to know what I need to work on in my individual workouts and has helped me picture what kind of player I want to be. I’m expecting us to have a good run in playoffs this year, and I’m excited about our coaching staff.

Tell that to all the media outlets. Problem is if you want to use the media, you cannot go after the media for wanting to publicize you.

I would not tell anyone my personal private life. The general public will only get what I give them and nothing more.

I’m curious about Ndour. She kinda reminds me of Dantas, where she’s not really a banger and prefers perimeter play. I wonder why they didn’t seem to want to use her as a PF. Is CHI going to sign her, or are they going to wait until she actually shows up to camp if she has national team commitments?

Zandalasini for Minnesota isn’t signed yet either. I wonder if similarly they’ll wait until she shows up to sign her.

Ndour's a hidden gem IMO. A legit 6'4 plus athletic post with long arms, speed, and agility. Ndour can post up back to the basket, go off the dribble and knock down the three-point shot(34%-career). Ndour has the ability to be a very good defender. She has excellent timing, can alter/block shots in the paint area and defend mobile/stretch 4's. Ndour also has the speed and stamina to get up and down the court in transition. Ndour played her best stretch of ball at the power forward position alongside J.Appel. Hopefully, Coach J.Wade gives Ndour a fair opportunity to win a starters spot.....Parker could also be a contender for a spot in the starting lineup.

Chicago should be a playoff team this season.

If I'm a team drafting in the 8-12 range I'd definitely consider offering my first rd pk to Chicago for Copper and Ndour.

In fairness, the team that just won the title changed basically one player and the head coach from the 15-19 squad from the year before. Things can change quickly.

Anigwe at 4

Kea/Dillard at 15

Sloot/Faulkner/Kea, Dillard or Harper
Quigley/Copper
Deshields/Williams
Ch. Parker/Anigwe/N'Dour
Dolson/Coates

Not bad.

Probably need a clever trade or waiver wire mistake by another team to do better, but this team looks like it could compete. Chicago has a combo of decent veterans and developing youth so a better coaching philosophy and internal growth could lead to at least some to a decent amount of improvement.

I could live with the Sky drafting Anigwe with their #4 pick. I am just not a fan of any high volume shooting guards that shoot less than 40%. Confused

I like Dillard on the Sky at #15.

The Sky will improve as a team by 100% by NOT playing Gabby Williams at the power forward position. They need to find a taller and stronger option to play that position.

I actually think hindbend will be a nice player in a few years. She had some nice flashes for pokey. Not many but some.

Alright Sky Fans, what are our goals heading into tomorrow night?

I see practically all Mock Drafts have us taking Anigwe at #4. I love her, but I feel like we need more development on the wing. Not sure how we can pass on players like Young, Collier, or even Samuelson. We seem pretty stable in the post. Plus, even if we feel we need to add a post, I bet we could get someone good in the second round like Howard, Shepard or Turner.

I trust Coach Wade.

A long-term replacement for Quigley at the 2 could be an option, but you do already have DeShields as the long-term 3, and potentially Gabby Williams as well if you find a 4 and she shifts back outside. Positionally Anigwe makes a lot of sense, but I agree that you don't draft for need that high. If they think someone else is the significantly better player, take her and figure the post out among Ndour, Williams, Parker, free agents and the 2nd-rounder.
