Excellent picks! I absolutely love Anigwe, but it's *really* hard for me to pass on Collier. And I promise I'm not a UCONN-homer. Collier performed so well in Team USA training camp last year *against the pros*. She seems to be a sure bet, which the Sky have not gotten in the past.

New look jerseys.

Sounds like everyone will be having the logo in the middle

I think fans are really going to like the new WNBA jersey design; the team logo is much bigger and in the front center of the jersey, replacing the number. Sponsorship logos still on front, but the team logo is prominent now. They go on sale May 24.

The real question is why would anyone pick an undersized BIG, or another Williams Laughing

She isn't the same size as Williams who is both shorter and has shorter arms.

And if you look at shoulder height, and not height, she looks to be around the same size as Aja Wilson:

How old is this photo? Wilson looks very young in this photo. She looks like a high school girl and not a grown woman with four years of college ball behind her.

That is the USA Basketball U18 team that played in a FIBA competition from August 6-10 2014. Wilson was born on August 8, 1996, so she was just turning 18. Females normally reach their maximum height by age 15.

Chicago is going to be one of the top 6 teams in the league the season. Coach Wade has enough sense not to start Gabby at PF. Parker had really worked on her conditioning and is in the greastest shape of her life(check her ig)...Diamond,Gabby and Coactes all have year under their belts. So they no want to expect in their second seasons.

G-Sloot
G-Quigley
C-Dolson
F-Parker
F-Deshields
6-Gabby
7-Samuelson
8-Faulkner
9-Copper
10-Coates
11- Ndour
12-Jackson

That's a playoff team IMO.

In order to win in this league a team must rebound and play defense. The composition of this team will greatly restrict that from happening in the near future.

Starting Gabby at PF hurt Chicago's defense, rebounding and offense. Moving Parker into the starting lineup would be a major upgrade. I think the Sky will have a top 5 offense this season. If they can just improve their defense/rebounding to where they are average, I can see them making the playoffs as a 6/7 seed.

I think the Sky are going to have the #1 offense, and the #12 defense. Back to back #1 League Pass team Razz

If Sloot, Allie, DeShields and Dolson are allstars this season then yes.

The likely all-stars will be Sloot, Allie, DeShields and Parker.

Parker will be in the running for most improved player.

Gabby will be in the running for 6th Woman of the year.

A top 6 team right? Name the teams that Chicago is better than at this moment

This is the 2nd year in a row that Chicago reached for a UConn player and it's debatable the ones they picked wasn't the best one available . I take that back because Gabby was projected to go ahead of Kia Nurse in most mock drafts. Chicago would've had issues at the 4 if they would've had drafted Collier instead of the logjam at the 3 by picking KLS.

Chicago on paper looks like a mess. Sorry. Lottery teams: Chicago, Indiana, New York and possibly Dallas if there's no Cambage trade.

Possibly Dallas? They're easily the worst team in the league if Cambage sits out.

NY
Ind
LV- (Still has a hole at center)
Minny - (No Maya, No Whalen, Aging Augustus)
Dallas-(Cambage drama, No Diggins for part of the season)

That's 5....LA could be the 6th. I just don't trust Fisher.....However,I can still see LA finishing with a better record than Chicago. That's why I said 6th/7th seed in a previous post.

Chicago's biggest issues last season was:

1. Gabby starting at PF
2. Dolson came into camp out of shape. I don't see that happening this season.
3. Youth/Inexperirience (DD,GW & AC were all rookies)
4. Coach Stocks (Lineup,Rotations)

Chicago looks like a mess but yet they won 13 gms last season. 1 less than Vegas and 2 less tha Dallas...Minnesota is going to take a huge hit the season(No Maya,No Whalen)
