Durr is out. Looks like Charles is back. Wondering if everyone else plays the remaining three games.

That 'minor groin strain' for Durr has ended up meaning she missed half the season. Either it wasn't all that minor or they've been holding her out for some other reason.

I don't know how bad it is, but if it's not 100%, there is no reason to send her out and risk aggravating the strain at this point.

Hard to imagine any reason why New York would hold Asia Durr out other than what NYSports56 has stated. Quite possible that she got hurt, she did some rehab, it seemed reasonable to begin testing it, and it got worse again.

Down two guards, the Mystics survived by going big. Can that work in the playoffs?

Thibault said he hasn’t decided if the Mystics will go big against New York or if they will depend on reserve guard Shatori Walker-Kimbrough and go with a smaller, more traditional group of starters.

I don’t think it’ll matter much either way. Tinker away or rest starters as much as possible. The Liberty are ill-equipped to stop them even if the front office wanted them to win.

It’s not like it’s a must-win game for the Mystics. They don’t have the #1 seed locked up yet, but they do have Top 2 and the double bye locked up. They shouldn’t feel the need to knock themselves out winning their remaining games.

You don't realize how victory-starved the Mystics have been for SO long. That whole Sheila/Trudi disaster still lingers in the air. This team needs to win and dominate early and often. That being said, t's completely smart to keep Powers out right now and hope when she returns she'll continue to dominate as she has. Great teams have to withstand injuries - and the Mystics are showing they can be a great team all the way through to the ring.

I have no idea why I am watching this game; I don't usually watch my teams much after they've been mathematically eliminated. The Liberty evidently mean more to me than a lot of the other sports teams I have been rooting for my entire life. Even without Kiah Stokes.

I am totally going down with the ship.

if there was another game on now, I'd watch the other game. But there isn't. So we watch and suffer tonight.

Is Sanders out as well for Washington? Would leave them with just 9 for tonight.

I actually can't watch it live, as it turns out. The game is being televised by YES Network, which blacks it out on all other networks live, but YES isn't airing the broadcast until after tonight's Yankee game.

I normally don't mind watching tape delay--in fact most of my viewing is voluntarily done that way to allow commercial skipping, but I actually wanted to watch live tonight and interact on RebKell, so it's a bit disappointing.

I honestly can't imagine Washington losing to any team that can't exploit their lack of size at center, never mind a bad team like the Liberty. This game should make the tankers happy.

Johannes looking like the only bright spot tonight. She's got 11 of our 19 currently on 4-4 FG%(3-3 3pt).

Nurse seems like she wants the season over with.

EDD, who is 6-5, is starting at SF. So the defensive matchup I’m going to use is 5-11 Tanisha Wright.

The female announcer stated Nurse has had a tremendous season, and been consistent.

The male announcer follows that up with “Nurse hasn’t had a sophomore slump”. Who are these two? Laughing
