Absolutely bummed this is a round 1 game.

Really felt somehow, someway, these 2 would end up in the finals again.

Father Time has no respect for anyone. Players age; skill sets deteriorate; younger players rise up. It's been a strange season with a compressed schedule that forced teams to play relatively often per unit time frame. Injuries that would normally cost a player a game or two cased them to lose three or more games this crazy season.

Sparks are my pick. Chelsea Gray is the X factor. Minnesota no longer has a guard good enough to compete with her (unless they are playing possum).

Also, I expect Parker to play the best of the top three players in this game. (Parker, Maya, Fowles).

I’ve got people worried about the Lynx playing possum. Not sure they’re playing possum at the guard position, unless Colson explodes. Colson is decent defensively, so could Wright and Colson bother Gray enough to stop her from being a Lynx killer?

The possum part is people seem to forget Brunson is a part of this team, and she’s been out a little too long. The Lynx have been trying to get by with a #35 pick and a player from 7-day contracts, and playing Maya and Zandalasini in small ball. Tough to win that way. So I’m hoping to see a whole different Lynx team when Brunson comes back.

I voted for the Lynx. As much as I love the Lynx, I hate the Sparks even more! Their coach is the biggest crybaby in the league and gives a bad name to the women’s game. Nneke acts as if it is a personal affront to her character to be called for a foul. I like Candace, but she’s probably the only one... Let’s go Lynx!

I have an image to uphold.”

I voted for the Sparks because I think the Mystics have a better chance to beat them.

Is Nneka going to play?

I got the lynx in this one. Nneka doesnt look like her old self and they dont really have anyone that can stop Fowles.

A lot depends on whether Brunson or Nneka play and how effectively they play. Both teams are sort of limping into the playoffs.

So does anyone have any information on Nneka and Brunson?

It seems unlikely either will be at 100%, but if one is and the other isn't, the pendulum will swing.

Must-see TV, though -- makes the first round of the playoffs a lot more interesting than if it were Connecticut-Phoenix.

Is her nose though ? Possibly may need to play with a mask. She's missed alot since the ATL game, How effective can she really be ? Is she even in playing shape still ?

I thought it turned out Brunson's injury was a concussion. I've never heard anyone missing that much time for a broken nose.

Some people have standards. If you look good then you play good. Her favorite song is I'm so Pretty!

Lynx and Sparks have met five times in the playoffs. Lynx won three of those series, Sparks two.

Chess match move , i doubt Agler risks his season not playing Nneka. Or it might not be his choice. I would have a different outlook on Nneka if she chose not to play .
