What a pitiful game. It is hard to sell people on the WNBA when you get games like this. About the only positive I can say is that at least Boyd, Nurse and Hartley played hard for the Liberty (after the first quarter) and Kelsey Plum is fun to watch. I'm sure the friend I took to this game (his first WNBA game) won't be coming back for quite awhile.

All Dallas needs to do is beat LV...and we will....I highly doubt any Dallas player or Coach wants to get a lottery pick...LV's playoff hope will come to an end on Friday.

You're a lot more confident than I am. (assuming Bill actually wants to win, which I'm not confident about either)

1.Home game.

2.Undefeated against LV this season.

3.Cambage/Diggins wants to play postseason basketball.

4.I can't imagine a WNBA team with the best center and 2nd best pg losing 11 consecutive games and not making the playoffs.

5.Laimbeer wants a lottery pick...JMO.

Counter-argument: Dallas have lost their last 9 games by a combined 93 points.

6 of those 9 losses are against 3 of the top 4 teams in the league(Conn 3,Wash 2,ATL 1)

2 losses against a highly talented Chicago team.

1 loss against Indy on the road without Diggins.

I just don't see them losing a must win game at home to LV.

And yet even with a short bench, Vaughn only played 10 minutes.

Not even after losing 3 games to teams outside of playoffs? The Wings have had a bunch of "must-win games" recently and lost all of them...

Must win games against mostly top quality opponents or with Cambage/Diggins sitting out.

1.Extenuating Circumstances in 2 of the 3 games versus non-playoff teams.

2.Dallas will be at Home.

3.Cambage/Diggins will play.

4.LV is 0-2 versus Dallas this season and are a young team.

5.The Wings will have a extra Day of rest.

3 Losses versus teams not in the playoffs

1.At Chicago-2nd game of back to back... Flight was delayed...The Wings didn't get into Chicago until after 1pm.

2.At Indiana-No Diggins.

3.Home to Chicago-Cambage/Diggins both played...Loss on last second putback by C.Parker.

Vegas is 2-5 in their last 7 games.

4 losses by an avg margin off 14.3 ppg.

1 Forfeit loss to Washington.

2 wins at Home against the 5-27 Fever and a depleted 7-25 NY Liberty team.

Vegas isn't a Hot basketball team on a winning streak....They've been struggling to win games and was fortunate enough to play the two worst teams in the league at Home.

I think both teams want to make the playoffs. First - is McCowan or Brown really worth tankng for? Second, Dallas needs to win a game and make the playoffs or the home fans will remember the team went on endless losing streak and be much less excited about coming back next year. Vegas could gain some credibility by making the playoffs two. Either team could pull a first round upset with a little luck. Evil Bill has shown he doesn't need a lottery pick to have a good draft. Finally the Wings have had lots of lottery picks and where has it gotten them?

Pleased with the heart the Libs showed in the limited time that I watched. I was at the Yankee game...another snoozefest. I set the Libs game to record but when I heard Tina was out and saw the score was 20-3 I figured I wouldn't bother. I watched the fourth quarter and they at least played with some fire.

Concerned that Tina was out with back spasms. That's two years in a row. If you guys remember she almost didn't play in an important game at CT late last year for that reason. So my questions would be first off, is this a chronic thing, since it sure appears like it? And secondly, is that part of why her rebounding has declined?

Oh Vegas suck too, but you're happily highlighting that and minimising how much Dallas have sucked for the last month, whether everyone was available or not. And if you're counting Chicago as being good, then there are only two teams left in the entire league who Vegas could've played that you wouldn't have considered strong opponents.

Friday's a crapshoot.

At least they could beat the non-playoff teams they've played. Unlike a certain Texas team.

They beat Indy at Home......Dallas played Indy on the Road without Diggins.......and Chicago has more talent than NY or Indy.........Chicago have 12 wins.....NY/Indy have a combine 12 wins.
