as Kara Lawson mentioned during the game last night, her pick is for Stewart simply because of their record. Stewart's playing on a winning team while Cambage's team in below .500.

No. However, Lisa Leslie won MVP in 2004 despite Michael Cooper quitting 20 games in.

I think it will be Stewart. EDD is coming on strong at the end, but I think Stewart's consistency throughout the year and leading her team to the league's best record will clinch it for her.

This is a sure sign that you believe Stewart is the true MVP. You’re generously willing to share the MVP rather than have it go outright to your homer selection Delle Donne, a player who has missed 4 games.

I think Stewie is definitely the MVP of the season. But I also think she's probably the 3rd best player in the league right now.

Default is best player on best team, and there's no reason to look any further ...

I'd rather it was a "best player" award rather than more the nebulous concept of MVP. But who are the 2 better players? - Delle Donne and Cambage?

Is there an actual definition for MVP, or is it just a fancy name for the best performing player of the season?

That's the problem - there isn't a definition and there have been plenty of arguments as the what "Most Valuable" means depending which player someone was arguing for.
