To be fair, the refs have pretty much established hitting someone in the face isn't a foul all season long, regardless of team/players involved. Rolling Eyes

If above the neck is a flagrant how can a hit in the face not be a foul. Really it just dependson who gets called for it. Had that been DT or BG it would have been a foul. Liz got someones arm across her throat which caused her to hit her head on the floor and it was just called a common foul. Funny how some teams can do whatever they want and others get called for every little thing. I've been watching the w since it's beginning but I am quickly losing interest.

If Breland would have flailed on the ground instead of being all tough, the refs probably would have reviewed it. But they never showed a good camera angle of it while I was watching.

Despite the weather, it looks like a decent crowd in Atlanta.

When i saw ATL earlier this year, there was no way I would have envisioned them being this good with or without Angel.

DT told the ref she got whacked across the face the other night, the ref wouldn’t even bother to review it - and they love to review. Replay showed that she was very correct.

Certain teams and certain players have always been able to get away with crap. I’m even an advocate for the superstar calls (all the superstars though)..but it shouldn’t apply to the whole team...and there is a line.

Brian put 4 of his starters back in with Riquana, and she didn't get one look. Her own teammates cooled her off.

See what I mean...? swing the damn ball, and get Riquana open for the 3. No Parker with tired legs shoots a line drive for the miss.
wow.

The entire purpose of sports is to mock Minnesota, so it's to mock the Lynx for deciding to be mediocre in a year the Sparks have been beatable by everybody else. Smile

Atlanta is a legit title contender, even without Angel....The increased offensive production from Breland/Williams and added bench depth make them that much more formidable.

The Dream won without Angel, they will still be a threat in the playoffs, but for a whole series I don’t know. Except they beat LA. I think Agler is a one championship per team kind of coach.
