I'm sending Hockey Masks to all of our players to provide Sylvia's elbows from being hurt by the Dream player's faces. She might hit their teeth and cut herself.

this was a tough call but I picked the Dream. they are the better team but both teams are coming in off loses. For the lynx this a must win game or any chance of a double Bey is out of the question.

Actually the Dream won the prior game against the Sky on Friday, but did lose the game before that.

If the Lynx really wanted a double bye, they would've tried beating the Sparks and/or Storm. If the Lynx want the #5 or #6 pick, this is a must lose game too! Or maybe they're just happy with having a higher draft pick than the Sparks. Smile

TBH - If the Lynx lose today it may say more about how far they have fallen than anything else.

Or it just proves my fear that Reeve is either a lousy coach, Reeve cares more about winning titles for other teams instead of the Lynx (she is hoping the Storm win this year by letting them have Howard, if not the Dream since Renee Montgomery was smart enough to rather play for a real, legitimate WNBA team with a great head coach, than the Lynx), or she's so paranoid about having to have high draft picks, and decided that since this is an even year, the Lynx might as well not go for high seed in case they're going to lose anyways in the playoffs, and is intentionally losing games this year. It seems suspicious, among other things, that nothing is wrong with Maya Moore, yet the Lynx have made her incapable of scoring 10 ppg, unless I'm the most delusional person in the world for thinking Maya Moore is supposed to be a All-WNBA caliber player.

Thanks Randy. I remembered the Mystics game because I was rooting for them. I watched the dream/ sky game but I didn't have a dog in the fight so it slipped my mind.

If the Mercury need a PF next season, they should really look to acquire Billings from ATL.

Jessica Breland, in all likelihood, is just "keeping the seat warm" for Billings. What in the world does Phoenix have to offer Atlanta that would make giving her up worthwhile?

You are flipping KIDDING me. How did Hayes get a foul on that one? That was a regular basketball move, not malicious or hostile. That is some home cooking/bad reffing right there.

Dear dumb announcers, Brunson had her arm wrapped around Hayes, THAT is where the foul call came from.

I wish I were a drinking man watching some of the reffing in these WNBA games. I'm way too Baptist for that, plus I am already on a medicine that hates my liver haha

I was wondering how Maya would have been fouled there. Not much contact between Imani and Sylvia either but yeah, it wasn't Maya. Glad the Atlanta bench yelled about that.

See I didn't think Hayes swung high. Her elbow wasn't even at the height of her own shoulder. I think the Brunson foul was called initially, then after seeing Brunson got hit, they checked the tape.

I wish I was as optimistic about the Dream as all the Lynx fans are. But a good half...I'm happy for that.

Heh. I hate the Lynx (read: Maya Moore) so much, that I can't even bring myself to watch because, in the back of my mind, I just know that Minnesota's going to come back somehow.
