The Sky's primary defensive strategy is to make sure the opposing team does not score more than 100 points against them.

With the all-star break coming up, I'm sure Brian is looking at this as an opportunity to get extended recovery time for his two fallen stars before the final post season push.

They simply have to win. If Riquna is ice cold again, they may have to get Karlie involved even earlier. Hopefully, Jantel will show some energy and scoring efficiency again. Even Essence was off her shooting game the other night, and she may have to recalibrate those bionic wrists to bring them up to maximum working efficiency. Chelsea is a money player, the Closer. I would prefer that she light things up all game long, but, even if she is off, she finds a way to get things done in crunch time. Odyssey struggled even more than Chelsea last game, but everyone knows they have big shoes to fill with Alana & Nneka sidelined . . . to say nothing of our top cheerleader, Syd the Kid.

And, of course, Candace once more visits the city with the greatest proximity to her hometown, Saint Louis, and her high school stomping grounds, Naperville. She is coming off a game played Friday night, but don't be surprised if all her family & friends in attendance do not help to galvanize an on-court CP3 celebration.

I wonder of Masha can disrupt Cheyenne Parker's improved flow? Cheyenne is not as big as Hollywood Liz (is anyone as big as Liz?) and should be easier to control.

I wouldn't mind seeing Ace continue joking around with Diamond DeShields. She talked Kristi Toliver into leaving ChiTown for the Land of LaLa, and we do need to groom a replacement for Alana.

I'm hoping the Aces make the playoffs...I would love to see Chicago get a top 2 pick(Brown/McCowen) in the upcoming draft.

Wonder if the Sparks had a plane delay like Dallas the other day. Maybe the Sky have a backdoor deal going on with the airlines...Gotta find some way for Rock to win his bet! (I'm getting nervous about the end of the season back to back with Indy!)

Can we come up with some universal nickname for Masha? I'm already sick and tired of hearing her called a diva Laughing

This version of Carson where she can now score is good for LA. Can’t leave her wide open anymore.

you have to wonder why the Sparks haven't even signed anyone to a 7-day contract? Pondexter was waived on June 28 & Wiese has been out a month. With Beard & Ogwumike also out, possibly until the All-Star Game, why not bring someone else in? Morgan William? Mistie Bass? Shakyla Thomas?

If someone scores on Vadeeva, Agler pulls her.

You have to wonder if she was available at the beginning of the season if the Sky would be in the play-off race. She'd definitely be an All-Star. Her, Gray & Diggins are the clear top 3 PGs in the league.

Most likely not. Their defense is extremely bad.

I like this Chicago team. IMO, they need another superstar (as all great teams have multiples)..but, IMO, that’s all they need.

I reeeeeeeeally wanted them to get Wilson. They'd be so good with her.

Why in the world would anyone double-team Vandersloot? Defense should be daring her to score; not because she can't, but because she clearly doesn't want to.

I thought she still looked decently good though... Confused

She appeared to be ambulatory in the Sparks' post-game huddle.
