Should Wings and former Shock management get credit for choosing some of the best scorers and players in the league? The top 2 single game performances were put in by players on their team...

Williams was almost waived from her team before this season. So i wouldnt call her one of the best scorers. She is a career 36,8% from the field Rolling Eyes

I also feel Cambage is in Dallas now due to Erin Phillips. Otherwise who knows if she would have shown up.

I think it certainly helped.
I also think Cambage was an easy choice at #2 at the time though, so credit where it's due, yes, but about the same credit as Phoenix gets for taking Pondexter with their #2 in 2006.
Williams was a great pick at #17 that year. Plenty of players taken above her are long gone.

Well that seems like a point in time thing. At the time she broke the record, she was playing at a high level
